Heineken: “Better Together” - 60s

Former Arsenal and Barcelona striker Thierry Henry is the latest Champions League alumnus to be poached by Heineken, as the brewer reinforce their support of European football's premier competition.

This outing focuses on companionship, or more specifically a lack of it. While Henry sits alone in his apartment on game night (he must have plenty of downtime since being sacked by Monaco), we see other examples of those - for whatever reason - left cheering on their own.

Whether it's a barfly whose pal nips to the loo or a solo yachtswoman - perhaps a nod to the brand's seafaring ‘The Match' film from 2015 - their, erm, plight is driven home by Eric Carmen's ‘All By Myself'.

The result is an amiable piece of work that must (for better or worse) travel across multiple territories. Directors Megaforce may not be allowed to fire on all cylinders as a result, but they still manage to produce something worthy of the Champions League group stages.
