Just a quiet one this Christmas.

by Syd Briscoe

H & M: “Moments in Between” - 90s

Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) celebrate the quieter moments of the Christmas season in this charming festive offering. From spending low-key time with loved ones to travelling to highly anticipated events, the film proves that not every minute of the holidays needs to be packed with distracting tinsel.

Director Max Vitali handles the low-octane action nicely here, ensuring the ad never feels hurried. This is a timely salute to pauses, after all - specifically moments of catching one's breath and taking in the atmosphere of the season.

With a pleasantly vintage soundtrack and diverse cast, those overwhelmed by the visual fireworks of other Christmas outings will enjoy the change of pace. 2019 has been hard enough, say H&M, so let's take it easy before 2020 reveals itself.
