What's Going On Ear?

by Syd Briscoe

Forest Road: “Ears” - 40s

Craft brewery Forest Road take an unusual approach in their latest ad campaign - namely, harnessing the power of creep. A cast of innocent bystanders find themselves targeted by a, well, ear enthusiast (or lug lover even), who does her best to get as up close and personal with their auditory faculties as possible.

Whether enjoying the atmos at a swanky art gallery or simply chilling on a park bench, her victims' reactions range from perturbed to cautiously flattered as they have their ears lovingly molested. It's all to set up a rather silly verbal joke... but that absurdity is what makes the punchline land so well.
