Projecting the future.

by Jason Stone

Epson: “EF-100W/B” - 65s

This is a pretty effective demonstration of a piece of kit that can't be easy to market. Who would have thought that, in an era of gadgets which fit neatly into pockets, that a tech company like Epson would be trying to persuade the youth to splash out on an unwieldy device like this?

By showing its use in a number of different scenarios, this film makes a pretty persuasive case for the projector it advertises, managing to suggest that an item you might expect to find in a conference room is actually suited to the needs of those who just want to be able to watch anything anywhere.

Director Rollo Hollins and cinematographer Ben Coughlan have neatly captured the action and we only wish it had been accompanied by a better piece of music.
