Enter Shikari: The Sights

by Andrew MacGregor

Enter Shikari: “The Sights” - 4 mins 10s

Enter Shikari’s manager has big plans for the band’s latest single. To mark the release of ‘The Sights’, he insists he can take the St Albans rockers to the Moon. The reality is a little more, er, down to earth.

Despite the track’s jaunty vibe, the band’s patience is sorely tested. Collapsing sets, tight jumpsuits, zero-gravity choreography… it’s enough to push any alternative rock band to the limit.

Still, Enter Shikari prove game performers. Their mounting frustration is well-played (bless lead vocalist Rou Reynolds for staying positive), while director Kristian Young crafts an amusing promo/making-of hybrid.
