Masters of their domain.

EBS: “First Time Buyers” - 40s

EBS (formerly the Educational Building Society) appeal to frazzled house hunters up and down the country in this engaging commercial. As director Bethan Sellerís whimsical yet relatable film shows, finding a place to call oneís own has become mission-critical for Irelandís young and restless.

This is illustrated by a man swallowed whole by his parentsí sofa (a fate preferable to watching a TV love scene together), a mumís bid to keep her rented walls stain-free, and a couple terrorised by a cuckoo clock. Such heightened visuals are then wisely anchored by a refined VO which lends weight to the brandís proposition.
