What a Wonderful World

by Syd Briscoe

Cuprinol: “For Your Great Outdoors” - 40s

Cuprinol emphasise the beauty of the natural world in this sweeping film, which aims to encourage hardened lovers to spruce up their own personal kingdom with a lick of the advertised paint. Always a popular location for landscape shots, New Zealand once again offers the gorgeous vistas seen here.

Laura Mvula's 'Green Garden' provides a fitting soundtrack, with the mixture of ethereal music and her soulful tones giving the artfully shot looks at the Kiwi landscape a dreamlike vibe. If turning your shed blue can evoke a similar feeling, we'll have to give it a go this summer.
