Co-op Supermarkets: A bit of a Blur.

by Andrew MacGregor

Co-op Supermarkets: “Christmas is Coming Together” - 60s

The Co-op party like itís 1999 in their Christmas ad. Choirs, school bands, and rugby teams cover snippets of Blurís ĎTenderí before joining forces. Despite such disparate styles, the supergroup does Damon Albarn and co. proud.

Diverse and melodic, the film brims with community spirit. Thereís plenty of mouths to feed - fortunately, the supermarket have the catering sorted.

Itís a canny song choice, too. The Ď99 original receives a hefty vocal boost, while additional trumpets, sitars, and orchestral flourishes complete an eclectic cover version.

Agency Forever Beta impressed with their naturalistic Motherís Day film; Outsiderís Max Fisher ensures an upbeat follow-up.
