All I want for Christmas...

by Andrew MacGregor

CLIC Sargent: “Christmas 2018” - 60s

Children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent ask some of their young charges what Christmas means to them in this 60" outing. With disarming candour, the cast get into the nitty-gritty of the holiday - namely presents, turkey dinners, and yet more presents. However, such trinkets pale next to the thrill of spending Christmas with their family.

It's a charming piece of work with genuine performances from the children - clearly given a free rein by director Yann Secouet - and the outcome is moving and inclines you towards wanting to support the charity, so effective too.
