BT Broadband: “Mad House” - 60s

A full house wreaks havoc on a man's wifi connection in this well-constructed ad for BT, wherein the protagonist arrives home to find the broadband rush hour in full flow. With laptops, tablets, and games consoles all fighting for bandwidth, chaos reigns… only for the brand's newfangled widget to restore the balance.

The film is juggled just as well, as director Fredrik Bond deftly handles squaddies, pixies, and cowboys in what must have been a cramped set. Such fine-tuned mayhem ultimately suggests the advertised widget can remove the need to perch closest to the router… though peace still depends on rowdy giants behaving themselves.
