Catch it if you can.

Aldi: “Bus to Catch” - 60s

Aldi's latest instalment of their ‘That's Amazing!' campaign turns a commuter's Hail Mary dash for the bus into an Eighties-flavoured triathlon. Scored by a cover of Bonnie Tyler's ‘I Need a Hero', the ad pits the protagonist against burst water pipes and other pedestrian hazards on his route to glory… or the number 83 bus, at any rate.

While we are well-accustomed to the supermarket's strain of slapstick athleticism, this outing stands out thanks to some extra visual polish and the lead's wide-eyed determination. Needless to say, the supermarket's resident triathletes, Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, make their obligatory contribution with middling results.
