Swiss director Michael Fueter is the latest addition to HunkyDory's thriving TVC roster. Born into a family of novelists, actors, and film producers, Fueter got a thorough grounding in how to express himself. His eventual transition into directing came as no surprise, and he's been racking up commissions and industry plaudits ever since.
HunkyDory's John Doris was particularly drawn to Fueter's storytelling nous, as well as his ability to deliver pacy, entertaining set pieces. Both these traits are evident in a 2018 ad for Swiss meat brand Bell - a nimble 60" caper which sees a little girl pursue a meat tray with a vengeance.
Fueter's assured touch has also enabled him to tackle high-profile campaigns for the likes of Mercedes-Benz. His 2014 ad for the German marque celebrated one-hundred-and-twenty-five years of innovation and iteration, complementing his four-wheeled parade with a car horn-inspired soundtrack.
Now he's on the books at HunkyDory, Fueter can't wait to make his mark on the UK market. His reel suggests he's up to the challenge, so it's just a matter of time before the right script lands on the Swiss maestro's desk.
